– SSSSSSS… Summer Solstice Sunset! – Thursday, 21st of June –
Let’s celebrate the longest day of the year!
…and enjoy with us the sunset over the western sky during our hike in Agalas.
We start our hike from Agalas village, situated on the West coast of Zakynthos. Walking down we have a gaze at the Damianos cave, the sea in front of us and juicy green hills around us. Soon we reach a point at the cliff and here is our perfect place for enjoying the sunset. Oh yesss…
After this – everytime unique – experience we will walk the path up again, still having eyecontact with the coast and soon we reach the village again, now in darkness and accompanied by the sounds of the nightbirds.
After our hike we can visit a taverna for a midsummer celebration! 😀
good walking shoes, sunprotection, water (tea, juice,..), small snack, thin pullover (nights can be chilly); torch if you don’t feel safe walking in the dark
